Zoom Sessions for Students

Not all classes will utilize Zoom; however, if your class uses Zoom and you have never used the tool, join us on one of our Open Sessions. You will get the chance to try the tool, ask questions about how to best use Zoom and the etiquette of joining a live session.

  1. Friday, March 20 at 11-11:30 am.
  2. Saturday, March 21 at 11-11:30 am.
  3. Monday, March 23 at 10-10:30 am.
  4. Tuesday, March 24 at 3-3:30 pm.
  5. Wednesday, March 25 at 10-10:30 am.
  6. Thursday, March 26 at 3-3:30 pm.
  7. Friday, March 27 at 10-10:30 am with Avianna.

How to join us?

  • Click on the link of the session you want to join a few minutes before the session starts.
  • You might be prompted to download the Zoom app if you have never used it.
  • The session will start at the top of the hour.

Monday to Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Note: Social distancing signage and limited workstation use in alignment with 6 ft. recommended spacing. Rubber gloves offered for use.

Gallagher Business Building 209

Monday/Wednesday: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm

Tuesday/Thursday: 8:00 am - 1:30 pm; 3:30 PM - 5:00 pm

Friday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 pm

Limited Availability

Library

The Library is available by Appointment Only Access / Check-outs. Appointments must be made 24 hours in advance, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. 

University of Montana users with valid Griz Cards can make an appointment using an online calendar system linked from the library homepage for computers, studios and the Accessible Technology Room.

Request a Laptop

Laptops may be reserved as long as they are available. Laptops checked out will be due at the end of the semester.

Humanities & Science

Available by Appointment Only Access / Check-outs. You can schedule to use a single-use workroom online

To reserve a computer, students should contact Griztech by email or by calling 406-243-2200.

Status: Mostly closed, LAW 122 - Available to Law students by appointment only. Please email LawSupport@mso.umt.edu to schedule an appointment if you would like to use this facility.

Textbooks

The Mansfield Library is committed to ensuring that our campus community stays remotely connected with library resources and has created the Library Resources for Remote Research & Instruction online guide to help answer all your questions. The UM Bookstore has partnered with VitalSource to provide free access to eTextbooks.

Physical Course Reserve materials are not available while the library is closed. Whenever possible we will provide electronic copies of physical Course Reserve materials, and will purchase electronic versions if available. Please contact library.circ@umontana.edu  or call us at 406-243-4071 if you need access to a Course Reserve item.
