Respondus Pilot

student taking an online exam

UMOnline is currently vetting an online proctoring solution, Respondus, for the University of Montana. Respondus has two available tools for use such as the Respondus LockDown Browser and the Respondus Monitor, both tools are currently undergoing tests to determine if they would be properly accessible, reliable and easy to use for UM.

UMOnline would like to begin a pilot during the month of May with a few online or remote courses to discover and potentially correct issues that may arise with the use of both tools. If you are an instructor teaching a 3-week session starting on May 11 and are interested in participating, we are encouraging you to review our Respondus page for background information on the software and fill out the Respondus Pilot Survey

On May 6, we will close the survey and establish the pilot group where participants will use Respondus within their class setting and work alongside the UMOnline team to resolve issues, document issues, or positives and address questions and concerns.

Thank you for your help during this pilot.
