Why doesn't the Virtual Classroom or Chat in Blackboard load?

Virtual Classroom, Chat, and the equation editor use a program called Java. Not all versions of Java are compatible with Blackboard. For more information, click here.

I clicked "Save" instead of "Submit" on my discussion board thread. Now I can't find it. Where did it go?

To find a saved discussion thread:

• Go to the forum that the document was saved in.
• At the top of the page you will see a drop down list labeled "Display".
• Select "Show All" from the drop down list.
• Click the "Go" button that is right next to the drop down list.
• You will see your document labeled as a draft.

My instructor uses Microsoft Office 2007 and I can't open any files. Is there a way to open them?

Microsoft has an Office 2007 Compatibility Pack that needs to be downloaded and installed on your computer. The Compatibility Pack can also be used in conjunction with the Microsoft Office Word Viewer 2003, Excel Viewer 2003, and PowerPoint Viewer 2003.
